Baby Girl Scrapbook

My cousin asked me if I would be willing to make an album for a friend! I was so excited, until she told me she needed it in a week and they love taking pictures. So, I did the 12x12 album and am so pleased how it turned out! I would have loved to do more with it, but was press for time. I believe I used every cart that I have, ok maybe about 10 of them! Enjoy and thank you for looking!

Wall Quote

Well again, it's been a long time since I've posted something here on my blog. I'm going to try to do it more often. This is the 1st thing that I've made with my Cricut since April!

I'm redoing my living room and this is one of the quotes I put on the wall. So as I sit on my new sofa, I'm reminded just how much God loves me!

Encouragement Card

Hi!
This is a pinwheel card that I made for a very close friend, who also works in childcare! Working with children is an rewarding experience and at times, it can be a little challenging. I thought of her today and decided to make her an encouragement card. I pray she likes it. I watched a video on how to make it. It was very simple and fun to make. Carts used: Plantin Schoolbook; as well as cuttlebug and stamps. This technique was different for me, it's like a post card; flip it over and the Footprints is on the back. The base is 5.5x5.5!

Fancy Hat Handbag!

Hello! TGIF
This is the 1st project I've done this week. It's for my pastors' mother. Her birthday is today. She's a beautiful virtuous woman of God. She's always smiling and she loves her hats and small handbabgs, that shine! So I made this for her. Carts used: Plantin Schooolbook and Forever Young (I love this cart). I also used my cuttlebug. Inside are some note cards with stamped scriptures. It was a lot of fun making this. Thanks for looking.

Valentine Gifts

Hi! This is another project I've been working on, to give to the teenagers & ladies at church for Valentines day! Over on the Cricut MB there are these cute little cupcakes floating around and they are made out of socks! I know, I was surprised to! I got this idea from greenbean, thank you! Very simple and fun to make! These would make great gifts for any occasion! I put a lollipop as my "cherry"! For the holder, I don't have the Easter cart nor DS, so it took a lot of trial and error! Put them in the clear bags w/a tag and they are all ready to be worn! Cart used: Tags, Bags, Boxes & more

This one is going to the adult ladies at church! {I love making things for people, the smiles mean a lot to me!} I was searching the Internet for craft ideas and saw a lollipop candle. I had these flower pots, so I decided to make candle flowers! Very simple & cute!

Dolphin LO

San Diego Whale/Dolphin Watch! More details below. Thanks for looking!

These are more pics from CA; Whale/Dolphin watch. It was so amazing to watch the dolphins play on the side of the ship! I felt like they put on a show just for me!!! When I 1st saw them, they weren't that close. I really wanted them to come closer & by the time I blinked a gray/white one jumped up right beside the ship! My camera was in my hand, but I forgot to push the button. It was like 5 of them jumping, twirling, & talking. By the time I remembered to snap the pic, he was going back in the water. I'm so glad I got a couple of pictures. My dad's wife was able to get the on video. Thanks for looking.

Baby Whale Blow LO

On Christmas Eve, my dad, Wanda & I went to watch the whales & dolphins out on the Pacific Ocean. It was 3 hours of peacefulness; so relaxing! When we first got on the ship, our coats weren't on, but by the time the ship started moving, they were on. About 30 minutes later, we had on hats, gloves and scarves. Although it was extremely cold, Wanda & I stayed out on the tip of the ship the majority of the time (alone w/a guy from Ireland)! We saw all of the seals up close & watched the dolphins play/swim on the side of the ship. It was amazing. We kept trying to get pictures of them playing, but they are so fast. I did manage to get 2, 1 of the jumping back in the water & the other is just his shadow under the water. Now for the whales, we only saw the blow of a baby whale. The instructor on the ship said it was a young baby who was more than likely separated from his mom. We saw him attempting to get his tail/fin out of the water, but he couldn't get it out of the water. We did see him do some blows. God's creations are wonderful!!!

Christmas '09 Layout

It has been a couple of months since I posted anything here! I've been really busy & I'm praying I'll have more time to create things this year, because I enjoy it and it relaxes me. (smile)
I spent Christmas in San Diego with my father and his wife. We had a lot of fun and it was a much needed vacation! I took about 150+ pictures. It may take me a while to scrap them but it's my plan to try. Here are two LO's I did yesterday and today. Over on the Cricut MB in the Layout thread, they have a challenge where you have a week to complete the given sketch. It was a lot of fun getting back into scrapping!
